Fridrik brings to SoundLines a wealth of biomedical engineering and design experience in global healthcare. Prior to SoundLines, Fridrik was a Senior Engineering Lead at Global Good, an organization dedicated to inventing and developing technologies to solve daunting challenges within global health such as disease eradication.
Fridrik helped shape and develop public health projects focused on resource-constrained settings in sub-Saharan Africa and South-East Asia ranging from cold-chain logistics, supply-chain information systems, and low-cost diagnostics. Projects included the MetaFridge and Indigo projects aimed at safe vaccine storage.
Born and raised in Reykjavik, Iceland, Fridrik earned a doctorate in electrical engineering from Tufts University and has published peer-reviewed research in biomedical optics and medical imaging.
